Muncheez Cannabis Infused Cereal Bar Treats Review

Muncheez Cannabis Infused Cereal Bar Treats edibles come in six different cereal type flavors – Cinnamon Crunch, Cookie Krunch, Cocoa Krunch, Fruity Krunch, Berries ‘N Cream, and Cookies ‘N Cream. These combine the old school cereal flavors with an old school edible flavor. No hiding the cannabis taste here, with the taste of cannabutter these bring us back to the old days of friends homemade cannabis edibles.

Each cereal bar treat has 10mg of THC per serving, for a total of 100mg THC per package. These cereal bar treats are formulated with distillate and cannabis butter. The cannabutter gives these treats a distinctive taste that is grassy and just like homemade cannabis infused butter. The Cookies ‘N Cream we tried was made with something called “Crystal Imagination Cannabutter”.

The package is a child proof plastic bag with a zip closure, it does not appear to be compostable or recyclable. After tearing off the top, you must pull the sides away from each other while pushing them apart with a finger. That is not super easy for someone with limited hand mobility or arthritis, so if you’re one of those folks you may want to cut the package open and put these into a container (child proof if children are ever where they are kept) you can open more easily. Inside are the treats and they are in a a single bar as shown in the image.

Dosing & Flavor

The smell from the container is a strong cereal and cannabis butter smell. Muncheez Cannabis Infused Cereal Bar Treats first ingredient is marshmallows which are made with corn syrup, sugar, dextrose, gelatin, natural and artificial flavors. There are other dairy products in them as well, so they are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. They also list artificial colors in the ingredients, so there are both artificial flavors and colors here. They are are not gluten free or dairy free, and they do contain coconut so not totally nut free. For allergens, the product contains coconut, milk, soy, and wheat.

These treats have a soft cookie texture and are easy to separate into single servings . Cookies ‘N Cream have a very light sugar-covered texture, almost like what you’d see in a glazed donut. They are easy to bite through and melt in the mouth similarly to a cookie. They are soft with a bit of cookie crunch and have a very pleasant mouth feel.

They are are not gluten free or dairy free, and they do contain coconut so not totally nut free. The servings are not individually wrapped and need to be cut into 10 pieces for a 10mg dose or cut those 10 each in half for a 5mg dose. They are soft and the 10 pieces are pretty clerly indicated, so it is quite easy cutting them in half.

As we always recommend with new edibles, try half of your usual dose before trying a full dose as you never know how strong something will effect you. The treats are easy to cut or bite in half to give a 5mg dose of THC, then to split again for a 2.5mg dose. As everyone is different, it’s important to try a partial dose first to see how you react to new edibles.

Since I am experienced with edibles and my usual dose is 10-15mg of THC, I began with half of a half of one piece, with 5mg THC. After having only light effects for that trial run, I then moved closer to my usual dose on another day, taking one whole gummy for a total dose of 10mg THC. I still found the effects on the mild side, so I found that for me a 12.5 mg dose gives me a solid strength effect. I sometimes use one and a one eighth pieces for a 12.5mg dose of THC when I want a stronger effect, or if I have recently eaten or if I’ve taken CBD, which can tamp down the effects.

Effects

The effects were along the lines of what you’d expect from a hybrid – some body and some head effects. Relaxed body and a little bit spacey. The impacts are not very energetic, so more for a sedentary activity at home. The effects I experienced were closely aligned with the effects from similar hybrid edibles, with a mix of head and body focused effects, but not too much either way.

Nostalgic sugary cereal flavors and middle of the road effects are what we found for these treats. We prefer to stay away from artificial flavors and colors in our edibles, but we get that having a favorite cereal flavor is attractive for an edible. Muncheez cannabis edibles bring back that cereal experience along with the cannabutter flavor, which takes us right back to old school edible flavors .

Muncheez are made by SB MIPS LLC in Henderson Colorado and they also make fruit gummies.

Currently only available in Colorado and Oklahoma.

Kanha NANO Vegan Cannabis Infused Sativa Gummies Review

Kanha’s vegan NANO are “enhanced nanomolecular gummies”, meaning they are more fast-acting than edibles that don’t use that technology. The cannabis infused Luscious Lemon flavor Sativa and Blood Orange Bliss Indica gummies each contain 5mg dose of THC per gummy. There are 20 pieces for a package total of 100mg THC.

These gummies are made without gelatin, so they are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Instead they use pectin, natural coloring and flavoring. They are gluten-free and contain no food allergens like dairy, nuts or soy. Each piece has 29 calories so the whole bag sets you back only 290 calories.

Kanha Vegan Nano Cannabis Infused Sativa Gummies

Taste & Effects

The Sativa product of this line of gummies is labeled is a Luscious Lemon flavor. The smell from the package is seriously citrus and lemony. I found these gummies to be a bit sticky, so it’s best to keep them refrigerated to keep stickiness to a minimum. Each gummy is covered in a fine sugar coating that provides an initial sweet taste. Once that disappears, there is a tart lemon taste and a very slight cannabis oil taste. Unlike other Kanha gummies I’ve tried – such as Kahna’s Sativa Cherry gummies – they are not artificial tasting, because they contain only natural flavoring. Kanha gummies are robust, taking a good five minutes to dissolve in the mouth if you don’t chew them up.

As with all new edibles, I took half of my usual dose the first time to judge how strong they are. The Nano gummies come in packages with twenty(20) 5mg pieces. My usual dose is 10mg of THC, so I started with one gummy of 5mg THC. I took it first one afternoon at home. I didn’t feel much of an effect, even after 2 1/2 hours. I tried again the next morning at the full 10 mg dose.

I did experience a quicker onset of the experience, with effects beginning to be noticeable within 30 minutes and growing to a full effect by the end of the first hour. With the Sativa, it began with a slight uplift effect, plus what I can best describe as a “caffeinated” edge. This is not the same energy-boost and focus-boost type of effect that I associate with some Sativa products, but more of a sharper-edged feeling. I did experience a noticeable increase in senses that I experience with other sativa edibles. This was a little bit like I was slightly on edge from too much caffeine and very focused. It was a clear-headed effect, I didn’t feel dazed or “stoned” and was able to get some work done around the house. The Indica has more typical Indica effect, with more of a relaxed body impact and a bit more spacey head.

I usually find 10mg of THC is a good dose for me, but for many folks 5mg gives them the effects they want. I tried these again several times at my usual 10mg dose and just didn’t get the strength of effects that I wanted. It may be the strain or the hybrid that went into making the cannabis oil or this could’ve just been a mild batch. I ended up cutting one in half so I could increase the dose to closer to12.5mg. That helped, so if you are tolerant of THC and experienced with edibles, you may find after testing that a but more than your usual dose may be needed to get the effects you want.

With what I experienced as a mild effect, these are great for people who are sensitive to THC or who get the effects they want from a lower dose. Always start low and go slow with edibles and judge the impact for yourself, as we all react differently to different cannabis edibles.

Wrap Up

I love it when edibles are labeled as Sativa or Indica to give folks a better idea of the effects to expect. Kanha Vegan NANO gummies are a good choice. While I find the flavor just okay, it didn’t put me off of using them. Overall a good choice if you are looking for mild effects in a Sativa or Indica vegan THC gummy edible with quicker onset of effects.

Kaneh Co Cannabis Chocolate Paleo Bites Review

Kaneh Co’s cannabis-infused chocolate paleo bites are vegan, gluten-free, “Paleo friendly” and have no refined sugar. As one of the few lower-carb vegan options, they are a welcome addition to the cannabis edibles world for folks who are eating in a more paleo- or keto-friendly way. They do contain tree nuts and soy, so be aware if you have allergies.

Kaneh Co Bites come in both the chocolate paleo and a superfood granola flavor, which is also vegan and gluten free. Both have 10mg of THC per bite and each bag contains 10 bites, for a total of 100mg THC per package.

My local dispensaries charges around $20 for a package, making it $2.00 for each 10mg serving of THC. The bag is a standard two-handed pull apart resealable pouch. The bites are not individually wrapped and they get hard and a little stale if not properly resealed and kept refrigerated, so be sure to store them properly to keep them their freshest.

Dosing & Flavor

The smell from the bag is a chocolatey cookie smell. They look like little brownies with some chips and coconut on top. They have a medium texture that is more crunchy than soft to bite through. The flavor is a chocolatey-nutty flavor that doesn’t have any bad aftertaste or strong cannabis oil taste. They taste of natural ingredients with no artificial flavor taste.

As we always recommend with new edibles, try half of your usual dose before trying a full dose as you never know how strong something will effect you. The Kaneh Co chocolate paleo bites are easy to cut in half to give a 5mg THC dose. Even being experienced with edibles and with a usual dose of 10mg of THC, I always began with a 5mg THC dose since you never know how your body will react with new cannabis edibles. After having only light effects for that trial run, I then moved to my usual dose of a full bite with 10mg.

These edibles are not labeled as Sativa or Indica, so I wasn’t sure what type of effects to expect. As with many edibles, I’d love Kaneh Co to come out with Sativa or Indica type-specific or even strain-specific edibles and I know the challenges that can come with doing that.

Effects

The effects I experienced were what I would expect from a mix of hybrid cannabis strains, part mental and part physical. I found these bites provided a mild physical relaxation without too much of a “stoned” feeling or the lethargic “couch-lock” that some Indica’s can create. It is also not an energetic or caffeinated effect as some Sativa strains can provide. I did find them mentally stimulating and created an elevated mood, which combined well with the relaxed physical impacts to help me get some things done around the house without being too spaced out to accomplish anything.

For me, these are perfect for the afternoon when you want to relax but still may have things you want to get done. They definitely have a good strength level, so I wouldn’t want to do anything complex or important, I would feel too impaired to really be professional or get any high quality work done. That said, I did find the effects supported creativity, so I could see doing creative work on these edibles, as long as a relaxed pace was appropriate – I wouldn’t blow glass on these, for example.

An excellent choice if you’re looking for natural ingredients, a vegan, gluten free, or paleo- and keto-friendly cannabis edible. These nutty chocolate bites satisfy the sweet tooth without adding extra sugar and create a balanced effect. A relaxed, creative elevation experience in a healthy package.

Kanha NANO Cannabis Infused Sativa Gummies Review

Kanha Nano Cannabis Infused Sativa Cran-Pomegrante Punch Gummies

Taste & Effects

The Sativa product of this line of gummies is labeled as a “Cran-Pomegrante Punch” flavor. The smell from the package is a generic cranberry/cherry smell. Each gummy is covered in a fine sugar coating that provides an initial sweet taste. Once that disappears, there is an artificial cherry taste, mixed with cranberry-like flavor, citric acid tartness and a slight cannabis oil taste.

Like other Kanha gummies I’ve tried – such as Kahna’s Sativa Cherry gummies – they are artificial tasting, even thought they contain only natural flavoring. Maybe its the way their natural cherry flavoring is processed, but it tastes artificial to me. It reminds me of that awful cherry flavor they sometimes use that the dentist to polish your teeth.

So while they are not my preferred flavor profile, it’s just a personal preference and the gummies are perfectly edible. I don’t like cherry flavor to begin with, and I don’t like artificial flavors, but these have a soft enough flavor that they taste pretty similar to other cherry gummy candies. Kanha gummies are robust, taking a good five minutes to dissolve in the mouth if you don’t chew them up.

Green Hornet Sativa, Indica & Hybrid Cannabis Gummies Review

From CheebaChew comes Green Hornet, a line of cannabis infused gummies. It’s great that they have a Sativa specific product, so consumers know what types of effect they are likely to experience. Like most adult-use edibles they come in a package of 10 pieces, each with 10mg of THC.

I found the package very difficult to open, so if you have limited mobility with your hands, arthritis or just a low boiling point, plan to get the scissors out so you can cut this bag open and store the edibles in a child-proof container that is easier to open.

Flavor – Hated It.

The Sativa gummies are Mixed fruit flavor. I am not a fan of the artificial cherry flavor that is prominent. It reminds me of cherry cough drops or that awful tasting cherry flavor some dentists use to clean your teeth. The other fruit flavors are indistinct to me, a mix of generic citrus, possibly some artificial pineapple flavor, it’s hard to tell. The dominant flavor is the cherry, which I find unappealing. It lingers as an artificial aftertaste even when the gummy dissolves. It does cover up most of the cannabis oil flavor, but I would rather taste the oil than the flavors used in this gummy.

Besides artificial flavors, these gummies contain artificial colors, carnuaba wax, and gelatin. They are free from dairy, gluten and fat, but are not all natural or vegan.

Effects

I definitely felt “stoned” with these edibles, so the strength is there. I didn’t experience most of the usual effects I expect with Sativa edibles – uplifted mood, energy and creativity. I just felt high with no impact on mood, no extra energy and without feeling especially “up”.

I found the effects to be more of a Hybrid type effect than a pure Sativa effect. It was a somewhat dreamy, spacey high. Perfect for just hanging out with friends, watching a movie or taking a bath. I was able to relax and space out. I did not have couch lock or become non functional, so it was not a heavy Indica type effect. I would not want to have to concentrate on anything while using these, I found them too spacey for that. They could be good for creative activities where you just let your mind wander. I’m not sure I would want to cook something where I had to follow a recipe as I felt too spacey for that.

I did have heightened senses and strong food cravings, aka the munchies. Food tasted great and was extra enjoyable to eat. These gummies would be great for anyone who is trying to boost their appetite. Beyond that and the stoned feeling, I did not experience much of any other effects even after repeated tests.

Conclusion

There are so many cannabis infused edible gummies on the market that taste better and provide effects I find more desirable, that these won’t make my regular rotation. If you are not put off by an artificial cherry/generic fruit taste and you are looking for a straight up stoned feeling, these gummies may be great for you.

I like the Cheeba Chews brand and like their original product line. I also do like very much that they make these Green Hornet THC gummies with specific Sativa, Indica, Hybrid types. The flavor and the effects are not a good match for me, but if the taste and effects sound good to you, consider giving them a try as they certainly have an impact.
