Kanha 4:1 CBD:THC Cannabis Infused Peach Gummies Review

Kanha cannabis infused CBD & THC gummies contain a 4:1 ratio of CBD to THC. Each piece has 10mg CBD and 2.5mg THC. There are 10 pieces for a package total of 100mg CBD / 25mg THC.

These gummies are made with gelatin, so they are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. They are gluten-free and contain no food allergens like dairy, nuts or soy. Each piece has 23 calories so the whole bag only sets you back 230 calories.

Taste & Effects

The smell from the package is a sweet peach smell. Each gummy is covered in a fine sugar coating that provides an initial sweet taste. Once that disappears, there is a semi artificial peach taste, similar to a hard candy like Jolly Rancher, mixed in with a slight cannabis oil taste. Like other Kanha gummies I’ve tried, they are somewhat artificial tasting but perfectly edible. I don’t like artificial flavors, but these have a soft flavor, taste perfectly fine and are similar to other peach gummy candies.

Kanha gummies are robust, taking a good five minutes to dissolve in the mouth. As with all new edibles, I took half of my usual dose the first time to judge how strong they are. My usual dose is 10mg of THC and up to 20mg of CBD, so I started with one half of a gummy, with 10mg CBD & 2.5mg THC. I took it first one evening at home. Within an hour I could feel the CBD start to have an effect, with aches and pains lessened plus a relaxed feeling in the muscles. I was pleasantly surprised at the impact of half of my usual dose of CBD. The extra THC really helped boost the CBD effect for me.

With 2.5mg of THC, I did not experience any of the psychoactive effects from taking higher dose THC edibles. When I take an edible with 5mg of THC, I usually get some mild psychoactive THC effects. I found the Kanha gummies to have little of those effects. In my experience, CBD lessens the impact of THC, so that I get a stronger effect from 10mg of just THC than I do when there is 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD in a gummy. At the same time, the THC boosts the effectiveness of CBD for me.

THC does work together with CBD, so I like the ratio of CBD to THC in this gummy because it helps activate the CBD. I find these work better than products that only contain CBD. If you are looking for a CBD gummy edible with a four-to-one ratio of CBD to THC, this edible is a good choice. Many products contain only CBD and no THC, which I find much less effective.

The package suggests taking between 1 and 3 doses. Since 3 doses would have 7.5mg of THC, you would have to be careful about psychoactive effects. I usually find 10mg of THC is a good dose, but for many folks 5mg gives them the effects they want. With CBD reducing the impact of the THC effects, I can sometimes take a higher than usual amount without undesirable side effects. Always start low and go slow with edibles and judge the impact for yourself, as we all react a little differently.

Wrap Up

For a healthy dose of pain relief, Kanha 4:1 CBD:THC Peach gummies are a good choice. While I find the flavor just okay, it is not enough to prevent me from enjoying the powerful effects. Overall a good choice if you are looking for support with pain plus the anti-inflammatory and other effects of a 4:1 CBD:THC gummy edible.

EdiPure Tie Dye Cannabis Georgia Peach Gummies Review

There are a lot of cannabis infused gummies on the market. A lot. My local, small town dispensary has between 4-5 varieties of gummies at any given time.

Last time I went edible shopping, I was talking with my budtender about how gummy flavors seemed to be mainly watermelon and berry. She immediately showed me Tie Dye Gummies in Georgia Peach Flavor. I was instantly sold! I happily purchased a container, as well as some other yummy edibles and went on my way.

Tie Dye Gummies Georgia Peach

These gummies are surprisingly a cloudy, off white color. They are one inch square pieces. Each lightly sugared dose contains 10mg of THC. Since my budtender said these were good, but not super strong, I felt confident in taking my regular dose of 40mg.

Tie Dye Gummies in Georgia Peach bring back memories of visiting old relative’s homes and how they’d offer orange fruit jelly slices to us. The Tye Dye Gummies were similar in consistency to that old fashioned candy; firm on the outside and soft in the middle.

Tie Dye Gummies Georgia Peach flavor are VERY peachy. Although the edibles are vegan, gluten fee, and organic- these might be the sweetest cannabis infused gummies I have ever eaten. Perhaps too sweet.

After about 50 minutes I started to feel a light buzz. My energy was slightly increased. There were no jitters. I waited for the initial high to increase which it never did. So I increased my dosage by another 10mg. The high never got stronger.

Tie Dye Gummies provide a light buzz and are very sweet. These marijuana edibles give an small, energetic buzz with a slight heady high.

If you are a beginner with edibles and are worried about products that are too strong for a newbie, these Georgia Peach Gummies are perfect for you. If you are looking for a strong high sensation, Tie Dye Gummies are not for you. Even after increasing my dosage, the buzz was minor.

I wouldn’t buy these again, but I know people who would prefer this edible’s weaker effects. Like my budtender said, they are good, but not super strong.

Kiva Lost Farms Strain-Specific Live Resin Cannabis Gummies & Chews Review

Kiva’s line of Lost Farms edibles are strain specific, live resin cannabis gummies. The line comes in four flavors of gummies and three flavors of “chews”, each featuring a specific strain of cannabis. For experienced cannabis users who are familiar with specific strains, these are a welcome change to the usual edibles that are often made with a variety of strains mixed together, often not even labeled as one of a group such as Sativa, Indica or Hybrid.

Each gummy has 10mg of THC and 0mg of CBD per serving, for a total of 100mg THC and 0mg of CBD per package. These gummies are not just infused with the usual distilled THC but are formulated with a specific strain like Blue Dream or Clementine to help create more specific effects.

Kiva Lost Farm Family of Cannabis Infused Gummies made with live resin

My local dispensary charges $22 for a package, making it $2.20 for each 10mg serving of THC, close to the same price point as the Kiva Camino gummies or the Kiva 100mg cannabis Chocolate bars.

These gummies do not contain gelatin, so they are vegetarian and vegan friendly. They do contain potato starch but it’s not a large percentage of the ingredients. The gummies are not individually wrapped and the packages are pretty easily resealable.

Dosing & Flavor

The smell from the tube or bag is primarily a strong fruit smell. Unlike the Camino gummies which are smooth and see-through, these have a more of a fruit chew appearance and a sugar-covered texture. They easy to bite through and melt about the same as Camino gummies.

The gummy flavors are Raspberry, Strawberry Lemonade, Juicy Peach and Citrus Spritz. Raspberry is made with the strain Blue Dream for the Sativa strain and Wedding Cake for the Indica strain. Strawberry Lemonade is made with Super Lemon Haze for the Sativa and Strawberry Bananaz for the Indica. Juicy Peach is made with the Sativa-dominant hybrid strain Mimosa. Unfortunately, as of March 2021, the Citrus Spritz flavor made with the strain Clementine is no longer available.

The chews come in Blueberry made with hybrid strain Blue Dream, Key Lime made with the Sativa-dominant hybrid strain Lemon Meringue and Watermelon made with the Indica-dominant strains Wedding Cake x Watermelon Zkittlez.

The flavors are somewhat sugar-forward since the outside of the gummies are coated with a sugary substance. The chews come without the outer coating and a bit more translucent. They all do have fruit flavors but they seem to border right on the line between solid natural flavor and more candy-type flavors. Mostly it is a mild citrus and fruit flavor that doesn’t have any bad aftertaste or strong THC flavor. A mild sour note gives these that suggestion of sourness and the fruit flavors suggest a flavor but you wouldn’t think you are biting into a real berry or slice of watermelon, they are more candy-flavors, although they do use real fruit powders as part of flavoring.

As we always recommend with new edibles, try half of your usual dose before trying a full dose as you never know how strong something will effect you. The chews and gummies are easy to bite in half to give a 5mg dose of THC. Since I am experienced with edibles and my usual dose is 10mg of THC, I began with half of one piece, with 5mg THC. After having only light effects for that trial run, I then moved closer to my usual dose on another day, taking one whole gummy for a total dose of 10mg THC. I sometimes use two and a one quarter pieces for a 12.5mg dose of THC when I want a stronger effect, if I have recently eaten or if I’ve taken CBD, which can tamp down the effects for me.

Effects

The effects I experienced were closely aligned with the effects I’ve enjoyed when smoking these strains, only adjusted to be edible effects. For the hybrids, a lovely elevated and relaxed feeling, while still being alert and energetic. More alertness and energy with the Sativa-dominant strains like Super Lemon Haze, and more relaxing and chill impacts from the Indica-dominent strains like Wedding Cake. I love the Sativa and hybrids for interacting with nature whether it’s gardening, “forest bathing” or a walk on the beach. As someone who enjoys photography, those are great for staying alert to great images without feeling over-hyped and at the same time the mild relaxation leaves you open to possibility. Similar impacts with the Blue Dream, a positive effect of a dreamy, elevated mind along with an Indica kind of body relaxation that isn’t too strong that you just want to sit down. The Indicas I find very relaxing as I’m sensitive to the effects of Indica strains.

Enjoyable flavor profiles and strain-specific effects are exactly what I look for when I want to elevate and Kiva’s Lost Farm cannabis edibles do a great job on both counts.

7Sacred Cannabis Infused Caramels Review

7Sacred makes farm-to-table cannabis-infused caramels, incorporating local ingredients from Colorado. 7Sacred is based in Telluride, Colorado and was founded by Mike Alagna, who was a professional chef for over 30 years. Besides caramels, 7Sacred also makes truffles and fruit chews using fruit from Colorado.

The caramels are made with cannabis oil sourced from organic cultivators. They make Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid formulas with different flavors including Salted Honey, Apple Butter and Peach and Black Cherry. Not only are they type-specific (Indica/Sativa/Hybrid), which I love, they also use organic ingredients whenever possible, a big plus.

I tested a Sativa batch of the High Desert Salted Honey, made with Colorado honey. The Indica, Hybrid and Sativa caramels all have 10mg of THC in each caramel, with the bag holding 10 pieces for a total of 100mg per bag.

Salted Honey Sativa 7 Sacred Cannabis Infused Caramels

They also make a 20mg small package with 2 pieces of caramel and they make truffles as well. These THC caramels are only available in Colorado as of 2021.

7Sacred Caramels are made with quality ingredients and they taste great. There is only the slightest cannabis oil taste to these edibles, but it’s barely noticeable. The High Desert Salted Honey flavor reminds me of a cross between saltwater taffy and caramels, with a sweet buttery yet salty taste. There is no strong cannabis aftertaste like you get with some edibles. The Salted Honey caramel is made with condensed milk and butter, so it is not suitable for vegans.

Each carame is individually packaged, so they are easy to throw into a backpack or cooler. Like most caramels, they can get sticky and soft when warm, so keep them away from heat to avoid an unfortunate melting. As with most edibles, I keep these in the refridgerator to help preserve the potency and flavor. I found that they are soft enough soon after coming out of the fridge, and I could lea the out for about 10 mins to get a softer texture.

The batch I tried had 9.52mg of THC per piece (I appreciate that 7Sacred and Colorado include the actual dose). I always try half of my usual dose the first time I use an edible, so in this case since my usual dose is 10mg or a little more, I brought a caramel to room temperature and it was fairly easy to cut it up with a sharp knife. If your usual dose is 5mg, you can cut one into four pieces without too much trouble to give you a tasting does of 2.5mg.

After two hours of taking a half dose I did not feel much. Another day I took a whole caramel and while I did notice some effect it wasn’t as strong as I would like. I took them as usual with coffee and a small sized breakfast that included some fat to help the THC metabolize.

What effects we experience from edibles can vary with what we have eaten, other chemicals in our systems, etc. , so be aware of the food in your system when taking edibles.

After trying a whole caramel two more times and feeling noticeable but not strong effects, I cut a caramel into four pieces so I could try one and one quarter for a does around 12mg of THC. That dose worked best for me with these edibles.

I did not feel a strong energetic effect from this Sativa edible, but did have sharp mental focus and some energy. I did not find it dreamy, with no more of a spacey head than other sativa edibles. I did find it uplifting and with a but of an caffeine type energy buzz, so for me this is something I would rather use in the afternoon or in the morning, not in the evening. Well maybe if I was going out for the night, wanted to be uplifted and didn’t have to drive.

I appreciate these being clearly Sativa and providing the type of effects I’d generally expect from a Sativa.

Overall an excellent cannabis edible choice that uses local Colorado ingredients, organic cannabis and comes in tasty flavors.

Made in Colorado and only available in that state as of 2022.

Kanha Cannabis Infused Sativa Cherry Gummies Review

Kanha cannabis infused Sativa THC gummies contain the usual 10mg dose of THC per gummy. There are 10 pieces for a package total of 100mg THC.

Kanha gummies are made with gelatin, so they are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. They are gluten-free and contain no food allergens like dairy, nuts or soy. Each piece has 23 calories so the whole bag sets you back 230 calories.

Taste & Effects

The smell from the package is a generic cherry smell. Each gummy is covered in a fine sugar coating that provides an initial sweet taste. Once that disappears, there is an artificial cherry taste, mixed with a slight cannabis oil taste. Like other Kanha gummies I’ve tried, they are artificial tasting but perfectly edible. I don’t like cherry flavor to begin with, and I don’t like artificial flavors, but these have a soft enough flavor that they taste like other cherry gummy candies.

Kanha gummies are robust, taking a good five minutes to dissolve in the mouth. As with all new edibles, I took half of my usual dose the first time to judge how strong they are. My usual dose is 10mg of THC, so I started with one half of a gummy, with 5mg THC. I took it first one evening at home. I didn’t feel much of an effect, even after 2 1/2 hours. I tried again the next day at the full 10 mg dose. I could feel a slight uplift effect, But I did not experience the energy boost, creative charge or the focus I experience with other sativa edibles.

Kanha Cannabis Infused Sativa Cherry Gummies

I usually find 10mg of THC is a good dose for me, but for many folks 5mg gives them the effects they want. I tried these again several times at my usual dose and just didn’t get the effects that I wanted. It may be the strain or the hybrid that went into making the cannabis oil or this could’ve just been a mild batch. Either way these are great for people who are sensitive to THC or who get the effects they want from a lower dose.

Always start low and go slow with edibles and judge the impact for yourself, as we all react a little differently.

Wrap Up

I love it when edibles are labeled as Sativa or Indica to give folks a better idea of the effects to expect. Kanha Sativa THC Cherry gummies are a good choice. While I find the flavor just okay, some folks love cherry. Overall a good choice if you are looking for mild effects in a Sativa THC gummy edible.
