Kanha 4:1 CBD:THC Cannabis Infused Peach Gummies Review

Kanha cannabis infused CBD & THC gummies contain a 4:1 ratio of CBD to THC. Each piece has 10mg CBD and 2.5mg THC. There are 10 pieces for a package total of 100mg CBD / 25mg THC.

These gummies are made with gelatin, so they are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. They are gluten-free and contain no food allergens like dairy, nuts or soy. Each piece has 23 calories so the whole bag only sets you back 230 calories.

Kanha Cannabis Infused 4:1 CBD THC Peach gummies

Taste & Effects

The smell from the package is a sweet peach smell. Each gummy is covered in a fine sugar coating that provides an initial sweet taste. Once that disappears, there is a semi artificial peach taste, similar to a hard candy like Jolly Rancher, mixed in with a slight cannabis oil taste. Like other Kanha gummies I’ve tried, they are somewhat artificial tasting but perfectly edible. I don’t like artificial flavors, but these have a soft flavor, taste perfectly fine and are similar to other peach gummy candies.

Kanha gummies are robust, taking a good five minutes to dissolve in the mouth. As with all new edibles, I took half of my usual dose the first time to judge how strong they are. My usual dose is 10mg of THC and up to 20mg of CBD, so I started with one half of a gummy, with 10mg CBD & 2.5mg THC. I took it first one evening at home. Within an hour I could feel the CBD start to have an effect, with aches and pains lessened plus a relaxed feeling in the muscles. I was pleasantly surprised at the impact of half of my usual dose of CBD. The extra THC really helped boost the CBD effect for me.

With 2.5mg of THC, I did not experience any of the psychoactive effects from taking higher dose THC edibles. When I take an edible with 5mg of THC, I usually get some mild psychoactive THC effects. I found the Kanha gummies to have little of those effects. In my experience, CBD lessens the impact of THC, so that I get a stronger effect from 10mg of just THC than I do when there is 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBD in a gummy. At the same time, the THC boosts the effectiveness of CBD for me.

THC does work together with CBD, so I like the ratio of CBD to THC in this gummy because it helps activate the CBD. I find these work better than products that only contain CBD. If you are looking for a CBD gummy edible with a four-to-one ratio of CBD to THC, this edible is a good choice. Many products contain only CBD and no THC, which I find much less effective.

The package suggests taking between 1 and 3 doses. Since 3 doses would have 7.5mg of THC, you would have to be careful about psychoactive effects. I usually find 10mg of THC is a good dose, but for many folks 5mg gives them the effects they want. With CBD reducing the impact of the THC effects, I can sometimes take a higher than usual amount without undesirable side effects. Always start low and go slow with edibles and judge the impact for yourself, as we all react a little differently.

Wrap Up

For a healthy dose of pain relief, Kanha 4:1 CBD:THC Peach gummies are a good choice. While I find the flavor just okay, it is not enough to prevent me from enjoying the powerful effects. Overall a good choice if you are looking for support with pain plus the anti-inflammatory and other effects of a 4:1 CBD:THC gummy edible.

Wyld Cannabis Infused Indica Sour Cherry Gummies Review

Wyld Cannabis Infused Gummies line of edibles are cannabis gummies that come in ten different flavor and effect combinations. The line comes in nine flavors of gummies , each featuring a specific type of cannabis – Sativa, Indica or Hybrid. Some are formulated with CBD, CBN, or CBG.

Each Sour Cherry Indica gummy has 10mg of THC and <2mg of CBD per serving, for a total of 100mg THC and <2mg of CBD per package. These gummies are not just infused with the usual distilled THC but are formulated with botanical terpenes to help create more specific effects.

The terpenes in the Indica Sour Cherry are myrcene, linalool, beta-caryophyllene, and terpineol. We like that they list the terpenes on their website for each product.

WYLD Sour Cherry Gummies Indica box

The package is an unusual shape, almost an origami-type of a box with three lids folding down on each other. You have to get your nail or finger underneath one of the flaps to open the exterior box. Inside is a plastic container with a tape across the opening so you know they haven’t been opened. It’s the type of child proof container where you squeeze the sides to pop open the lid. Not too much pressure needed to open it, which is a blessing for folks with limited hand strength or arthritis.

Dosing & Flavor

The smell from the container is primarily a strong real fruit smell. Wyld gummies are made with real fruit ingredients and natural flavors for authentic, true-to-fruit flavor. With so many gummies having candy-like unnatural or artificial flavors, these are are a nice change to taste like the actual fruit.

Unlike the Kiva Camino gummies which are smooth and see-through, these have a more of a fruit chew appearance and a very light sugar-covered texture. They are easy to bite through and melt in the mouth more easily than most gummies. They are soft and have a very pleasant mouth feel.

These gummies contain Sugar, Tapioca Syrup, Water, Cherry Juice Concentrate, Gelatin, Malic Acid, Coconut Oil, Natural Flavoring, Citric Acid, Pectin (Pectin, Sodium Citrate), Cannabis Extract, Sunflower Lecithin. Due to the gelatin, they are not vegan friendly unfortunately. They do contain natural coloring and flavoring. They are gluten free, and dairy free, but they do contain coconut so not totally nut free. The gummies are not individually wrapped and need to be cut in half for a 5mg dose or in quarters for a 2.5mg dose. They are soft and square-ish so it is quite easy cutting them in half.

As we always recommend with new edibles, try half of your usual dose before trying a full dose as you never know how strong something will effect you. The gummies are easy to cut or bite in half to give a 5mg dose of THC, then to split again for a 2.5mg dose. As everyone is different, it’s important to try a partial dose first to see how you react to new edibles.

Since I am experienced with edibles and my usual dose is 10mg of THC, I began with half of a half of one piece, with 5mg THC. After having only light effects for that trial run, I then moved closer to my usual dose on another day, taking one whole gummy for a total dose of 10mg THC. I sometimes use one and a one eighth pieces for a 12.5mg dose of THC when I want a stronger effect, or if I have recently eaten or if I’ve taken CBD, which can tamp down the effects. But 10mg is usually “just right”.

Effects

I am sensitive to the effects of strong Indica strains and the edibles that use Indica strains. These were a pleasant surprise as they didn’t put me to sleep or get me locked into the couch. The nice body relaxing impacts are perfect for an end-of-day experience while still being able to function. The effects I experienced were closely aligned with the effects I’ve enjoyed with similar terpene-specific gummies, relaxing and chill impacts from the Indica-dominant strain.

If you like a really strong body impact from your Indica edibles, you might not find these fit the bill. For folks like me, who are best pleased with a more restrained “two-beers” type of feeling, these are exactly what I like for an afternoon/evening of elevation.

Truly enjoyable real-fruit forward flavor profiles and specific effects are what I look for when I want to elevate. Wyld cannabis edibles do a great job on both counts and really up the game when it comes to natural flavors.

Atlas Ember, Stratus & Nimbus Cannabis Edibles Review

Atlas edibles are a hybrid of a granola bar, a fruit/oat bar and a cookie. They come in Sativa, Indica and two different Hybrid formulations. Each bag contains 80mg of THC. There are four pieces in each bag, each piece contains 20mg of THC. They are colorfully packaged, interestingly flavored and cleverly named.

Products

The two hybrid products are Stratus and Nimbus. Stratus promotes mindfulness & playfulness. It is flavored with lemon caramel, wild blueberries, poppy seeds and a hint of ginger. Nimbus is the other Hybrid flavor, having the same effects as Status but flavored with dark chocolate, hazelnuts, pecans and currants.

The Indica edible, which promotes relaxation, is flavored with Mexican chocolate, warm spices and pepitas (pumpkin seeds) and is called Origin. Click here for our reviews of Origin.

Atlas Sativa Ember clusters
Ember edible

The Sativa edible is called Ember and it promotes functionality and creativity. It’s flavored with caramel, cayenne, toasted cashews and California apricots. If you are sensitive to spicy, don’t be put off because I love spicy and I hardly noticed any heat when I tried it, so it’s a mellow heat offset by the nuts and apricots. It is vegetarian and almost vegan (if your vegan eats honey) with the cannabis infused in coconut oil.

Ember has a pleasant oat bar/moist cookie taste with some crunch from the cashews and a nice fruity finish with the apricots. THC flavor was present but mild, as was the heat from the cayenne, which I hardly could notice. I should note that I like spicy food and have a tolerance for it, so you might notice the cayenne more than I did. Atlas describes it as promoting positivity, functionality and creativity.

The Nimbus Hybrid product suggests it will promote balance, mindfulness and playfulness. It has a pleasant dark chocolate smell with some of the THC coming through. The taste is the same oat-y, sweet nut and fruit flavor as the other Atlas products. The pecan and hazelnut flavors come in behind the chocolate, oat & honey taste. There is a definite cannabis taste but it is mild and quite well balanced with the other flavors, so the taste is neither medicinal nor absent.

Dosing

It was confusing for me that they called the pieces inside “clusters” a cluster can be a single square or the four squares stuck together could also be a cluster. From just reading the dosing information on the outside I could not tell what I would find inside. Once I opened the package I found four square pieces stuck together with a silicone bag stuck to the bottom of one of the squares.

I had to re-read the instructions and was still confused because the graphic shows one square cut in half, so did that mean half of the four squares stuck together should be cut in half to make what they called a “cluster”? I decided that since there were 80mg in the package, that must mean there were four pieces, each with 20mg, so I pulled apart the four squares.

Atlas Sativa Ember pkg clusters
Atlas Edibles’ Sativa Ember edible fresh from the package

For my usual test dose of 10mg I cut one of the squares in half. Cutting one of the squares in half required a sharp knife since they are dense and there are nuts inside. It cut cleanly in half. My usual 10 mg dose was just right for this product as I found it strong and potent.

Effects

Ember – I took a 10 mg dose of the Sativa edible on a half-empty stomach in the late morning with coffee and I could feel it within 45 minutes. Within an hour I had the full effect of energy and focus. I had so much energy I felt like I could scrub the driveway with a toothbrush if I had to! Luckily I only had usual weekend chores and some cooking to do, so it was perfect.

I had a strong munchie effect from this edible. Since it is strong it likely impacts the blood sugar in a strong way too, so be sure to have your favorite liquids and snacks around.

Nimbus – I took a 10mg dose with my breakfast coffee, pairing it with a piece of bacon to provide the fat that edibles need. I started to feel the effects in less than an hour. Like the Ember product, this one is also potent and delivers a pleasantly noticeable effect. I experienced a clear-headed high, with some energy from the sativa effects and a solid relaxing effect on the body. This wasn’t a foggy-headed or lethargic high that comes with some hybrids that are indica-dominant.

Heavy Hitters Sativa, Indica and Hybrid Cannabis Gummies Review

Heavy Hitters line of edibles are cannabis gummies that come in nine different flavor and strain combinations. The line comes in nine flavors of gummies, each featuring a specific type of cannabis – Sativa, Indica or Hybrid.

Each gummy has 20mg of THC and 0mg of CBD per serving, for a total of 100mg THC and 0mg of CBD per package.

Sour Apple Heavy Hitters THC gummy edible 20mg package
Sour Apple Heavy Hitters

These gummies contain gelatin, so they are not vegan friendly. They do contain natural coloring and flavoring, without artificial ingredients. They are gluten free, dairy free, and nut free. The gummies are not individually wrapped and need to be cut in half for a 10mg dose or in quarters for a 5mg dose. They are scored across the gummy so they do give a guide for easily cutting them in half.

Dosing & Flavor

The smell from the bag is primarily a strong fruit smell. Unlike the Kiva Camino gummies which are smooth and see-through, these have a more of a fruit chew appearance and a sugar-covered texture. They are easy to bite through and melt in the mouth in the same way as most gummies.

The gummy flavors are Moondrop Grape, Pink Grapefruit, Blueberry Dream, Sour Apple Lemonade Haze, Tangerine Dream, Strawberry Storm, Pineapple Punch, and Watermelon Spark. For our review we tried the Sour Apple Sativa and the Pineapple Punch.

Sour Apple Heavy Hitters THC gummy edible 20mg piece

The flavors are somewhat sugar-forward since the outside of the gummies are coated with a sugary substance. They all do have fruit flavors but they seem to border right on the line between solid natural flavors and more candy-type flavors. For the sour apple, mostly it is a nicely sour citrus and fruit flavor, without any bad aftertaste or strong THC flavor. For the Pineapple Punch, a mild sour note combines with a pineapple candy flavor. The citric acid gives these a suggestion of sourness and the fruit flavors suggest a flavor. Be clear, you wouldn’t think you are biting into a real apple or berry or slice of watermelon, they are more candy-flavors, although they do use natural flavoring.

As we always recommend with new edibles, try half of your usual dose before trying a full dose as you never know how strong something will effect you. The gummies are easy to cut or bite in half to give a 10mg dose of THC, then to split again for a 5mg dose. Especially with something called “Heavy Hitters”, it’s important to try a partial dose first to see how you react.

Effects

The effects I experienced were closely aligned with the effects I’ve enjoyed with similar terpene- specific gummies. For the hybrids, a lovely elevated and relaxed feeling, while still being alert and energetic. More alertness and energy with the Sativa-dominant strains, and more relaxing and chill impacts from the Indica-dominant strains. I love the Sativa and hybrids for interacting with nature whether it’s gardening, “forest bathing” or a walk on the beach. As someone who enjoys photography, those are great for staying alert to great images without feeling over-hyped and at the same time the mild relaxation leaves you open to possibility. Similar impacts with the hybrids, a positive effect of an elevated mind along with an Indica kind of body relaxation that isn’t too strong that you just want to sit down. The Indicas I find very relaxing as I’m sensitive to the effects of Indica strains.

Enjoyable flavor profiles and specific effects are exactly what I look for when I want to elevate and Heavy Hitters cannabis edibles do a great job on both counts.

Note: Terpenes are the aromatic oils that give your favorite cannabis varieties distinctive flavors like citrus, berry, mint, and pine. These oils, secreted in the flower’s sticky resin glands, appear in many other herbs, fruits, and plants. They play a significant role in the therapeutic and medicinal use of cannabis strains by creating subtle differences in effects across various types. Want some more inside knowledge about terpenes? OM Cannabis Infused Epsom Salts – Lavender and Arnica Pain Relief Review

OM’s Cannabis infused Epsom salts are infused with 25mg each of both THC and CBD in the 6.5 ounce package. The focus is on soothing aches and relaxation. Lavender helps calm the nervous system as well as aid in sleep and relaxation. Arnica aids in pain relief. Both arnica and lavender work synergistic with cannabis.

They also have products based on CBD in other formulations including fragrance free, lemon ginger, rose geranium, and an “athletic” formula.

Product

All of the ingredients are naturally occurring and contain moisturizing oils including apricot kernel, avocado, jojoba, and argan oil. The arnica product also contains lavender, camphor, and rosemary. The lavender contains vitamin E and aloe vera. This product is vegan friendly with no animal products or by-products like gelatin.

Dosing

OM recommends using the entire bag for the maximum effect. As with all edibles, tinctures, patches, creams, balms, and bath products, it is best to start with a small amount. Consider trying a quarter of a bag just to see if you notice any effect and to make sure you don’t have an adverse reaction, since some folks have sensitive skin. If you don’t have sensitive skin, you are likely safe to try half a package the first time. Like all topicals, since it is absorbed through the skin and not into the bloodstream, it doesn’t produce the psychoactive effects typically associated with THC.

I found very mild effects with a partial bag and the effects were more noticeable with a full bag.

Effects

I tried the lavender purely for relaxation with no expectation of pain relief. It was a pleasant fragrance and the oils provided a lot of moisturizing with the vitamin E and aloe vera. Very relaxing and set me up for a good nights sleep.

The arnica did have a more pronounced impact on sore muscles and aches. The full bag really provided an impact in relieving soreness and pain. The orange, lavender and rosemary oils gave it a pleasant sent without being too medicinal. I found it less effective treating joint pain or anything deeper than surface muscle and nerve pain. It’s hard for a topical to penetrate deep into joints from the skin even with a long soak.

OM’s line of epsom salts is a good choice to try if you are looking for a topical rich in natural oils that can address muscle or nerve pain. While it does not work on all types of pain, I found it relaxing and effective for treating minor aches and pains.

Good Tide Cannabis Infused Gummies Review

Good Tide Cannabis Infused Gummies line of edibles come in three different flavor and effect combinations, Uplifting Pineapple, Balanced Guava and Mango Mellow. These are some of the best tasting gummies we’ve tried.

Each gummy has 10mg of THC per serving, for a total of 100mg THC per package. These gummies are formulated with botanical terpenes to help create more specific effects. They use solventless hash rosin to infuse the properties of specific strains. The Sativa we tried was made with Super Lemon Haze rosin, for example.

Good Tide Gummies options

The package is a cylinder that is fully compostable and recyclable. There is a button you push in to separate th top from the bottom of the packaging. Inside are the gummies and they hardly take up half of the package, not sure why there is so much extra packaging. Not too much pressure needed to open it, which is a blessing for folks with limited hand strength or arthritis.

Dosing & Flavor

The smell from the container is a strong real fruit smell. Good Tide gummies are made with real fruit ingredients and natural flavors for authentic, true-to-fruit flavor. With so many gummies having candy-like unnatural or artificial flavors, these are are a nice change to taste like the actual fruit. Of the edibles we’ve tried, this is the closest one has come to tasting like you are biting a piece of actual fruit.

Unlike the Kiva Camino gummies which are smooth and see-through, these have a more of a fruit chew appearance and a very light sugar-covered texture. They are easy to bite through and melt in the mouth more easily than most gummies. They are soft and have a very pleasant mouth feel.

These gummies contain Sugar, Tapioca Syrup, Water, Juice Concentrate, Natural Flavoring, Pectin (Pectin, Sodium Citrate), Coconut Oil, Cannabis Extract, Citric Acid, Mallic Acid, Carnauba Wax, and Sunflower Lecithin. Since they don’t contain gelatin, they are vegan friendly which is always a cruelty free plus.

They are gluten free, and dairy free, but they do contain coconut so not totally nut free. The gummies are not individually wrapped and need to be cut in half for a 5mg dose or in quarters for a 2.5mg dose. They are soft and round so it is quite easy cutting them in half.

I still found the effects on the mild side, so I found that for me a 12.5 mg dose gives me a solid strength effect. I sometimes use one and a one eighth pieces for a 12.5mg dose of THC when I want a stronger effect, or if I have recently eaten or if I’ve taken CBD, which can tamp down the effects.

Effects

The effects were along the lines of what you’d expect from a Sativa strain like Super Lemon Haze. Uplifting, energetic, creative and a little bit spacey. The impacts are perfect for being able to function well with a boost of expansion for the head. The effects I experienced were closely aligned with the effects I’ve enjoyed with similar Sativa gummies, with very little body focused effects.

Excellent real-fruit forward flavor profiles and specific effects are what good edibles are meant to provide when we want to elevate. Good Tides cannabis edibles do a great job on both counts and set a high standard when it comes to natural flavors.
